recovery Points are essential to safe recovery of vehicles.
All vehicles planning to go off road should have at least
one recovery point front and back. Dot not confuse factory
tie-down points with recovery points. Factory points are
for transport of vehicles and are not designed to recover
a stuck vehicle.
Viking
Recovery Hitch
The
Viking Recovery Hitch is the premiere hitch available
anywhere. It is CNC machined in the USA from 1018 steel
producing a 25,000 Lb. Safe Working Load with a 1.5
safety Factor. The hitch is Nickel Plated for a high
quality durable finish.
The
Viking Recovery Hitch was designed to be compact and
fit the Green Pin Van Beest Shackles for ultimate strength
and fit. The hitch can be turned both directions with
the shackle hole horizontal or vertical to avoid shackle
binding. (does not fit 7/8" Van
Beest Shackles)
The
U.D.S hitch is has a unique feature allowing for recovery
hitch and doubling as a tow hitch. Like the Viking hitch
it can be turned in wither direction to avaid shackle
binding. Gold zinc plating provides a protective coating.
Comes complete with 3/4" shackle and hitch pin.
