All our winchlines are professionally spliced with Samson's "Class II" splicing method. Tube thimble is made from heavy gauge steel and has a powder coated finish. Stainless steel thimble is heavy duty type, large sides cover line to minimize damage. Our preferred options is the Winch Safety Thimble™, the large diameter Safety Thimble will not pull through your fairlead, the lightweight aluminum alloy makes it safe and easy to use
